  • Jose Mourinho is undoubtedly "the Special One". He managed to beat with his Internazionale decent players probably the best Barcelona team in history. Inter have scored more over the two legs, with the tie finishing 3-2 on aggregate as Barcelona could not play their game in front of a ruthless formation.
  • And he did not hold back after the game, saying it was the "greatest win" of his career, bigger than winning the Champions League with Porto and winning titles in Portugal and Italy. And even more important than back to back English Premier League titles with Chelsea.
  • Despite the Blaugrana having a whopping 87 % in possession, Inter did not live dangerously at the Camp Nou. Mourinho's troops stood high, not wanting to have the ball, because playing the ball means getting your opponent to attack you as the Portuguese admitted. That was the simplest most profound way to stop a team that has one more point in the domestic standings in front of probably the best Real Madrid side since Puskas and Di Stefano, according to statistic facts.
  • That said I believe Jose Mourinho is the best manager at the moment.
